When fate hands Meg Cole her father's wealth, estate, and career, she's overwhelmed and uncertain how to proceed. Wade (My Stubborn Heart, 2012) does a wonderful job of creating relatable characters as she explores the forces that shape a life. From Meg's privileged upbringing and dark past to Bo's time as a marine and his passion for horses, the two must confront perceived expectations versus what their hearts desire.
